Why is Nexgard Spectra important?
Ticks: Tick paralysis can be fatal, so prevention is essential if you live in a tick area or are planning to visit one. Paralysis ticks are found in most areas of the east coast of Australia and can be active year-round in warmer climates. NexGard Spectra is highly effective at killing ticks on dogs, offering tick control for a full month.
Heartworm: NexGard Spectra also provides heartworm prevention for dogs. Immature heartworm larvae are spread by mosquito bites. Left untreated, heartworm infection can cause heart failure which can be fatal.
Intestinal Worms: Intestinal worms may cause a wide range of clinical signs in dogs depending on the species of worm, the age of the animal and the extent of infestation. NexGard Spectra is a broad-spectrum dog wormer which treats and controls roundworms, hookworms and whipworms.
Flea Tapeworm: The flea tapeworm is transmitted by fleas. Dogs become infested by ingesting adult fleas carrying the tapeworm larvae. Effective flea control with NexGard Spectra prevents flea tapeworm infestation.
Mites: Infestation with mites can cause severe irritation to your dog?s skin and ears. NexGard Spectra is an effective ear mite treatment for dogs and also treats and controls sarcoptic and demodectic mange.
